Dalton Wayne McConathy, 17, of Ft. Oglethorpe passed away November 11, 2013.  He was a lifelong resident of Walker and Catoosa Counties.  He went to Lakeview Middle School and was currently being home schooled.  His passions in life were hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Kim Lowery and Bobby McConathy; brother, Dustin McConathy; sister, Haley McConathy, all of Ft. Oglethorpe; maternal grandparents, Joan and Hank Amlung of Leesburg, FL; paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Brenda McConathy of Ft. Oglethorpe; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 5p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-9p.m. and Friday from 3p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
