Obituary for Katherine Morrow Huckabee
Katherine Morrow Huckabee, 88, of Lakeview passed away Saturday, March 06, 2010
at a local hospital. Mrs. Huckabee was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga
and Lakeview community. She had worked for Erlanger hospital as an LPN and
later became the Plant Nurse at Koehring Southern. She finished her working
career along side her husband as they owned and operated Industrial Electronics
Supply. Mrs. Huckabee was a charter member of the Lakeview Lions Club and a
member of the Rossville First Church of the Nazarene and attended the Bible
Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. “Bill” Huckabee; parents,
John and Nellie Mae Morrow; and niece, Kimberly Thomas.
Survivors include her children, Renee Felton (Randy) of Tallahassee, FL and Rick
Huckabee (Debbie); brother, Raymond Morrow (Mary) of Rossville; sister, Jackie
Morrow Thomas of Rossville; three grandchildren, Julie Felton, Beth Gabert
(Ben), and Ryan Felton; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Felton and Logan
Felton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with
Reverend Charles Fountain officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of
Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
