Testimonials

Working with Jason made our heart breaking experience hurt a little less. He was very personable. He laughed with us, laughed at us and made us laugh at him. He was very respectful and truly takes the time to understand each families different dynamics and what they are wanting their service to look like, to best represent the person we wanted to honor. The service for our father was more than we could have ever imagined. The staff truly took the time to make sure everything was above and beyond to represent who our loved one was as a person. While I pray I do not have to have the honor of working with Jason again anytime soon, it brings me comfort in knowing he will be there and leave us in the best hands when it is needed. I cannot thank this staff enough.

Thank you to Lane Funeral at South Crest Chapel for making the visitation and chapel service for my granddaughter, Rhiannon Hudson so much easier for the family and friends. They were very helpful and professional. A special thank you to Susan Tankersley for being there for the entire process, for her helpful suggestions and wonderful kindness. She treated us as if we were family. Her knowledge and comfort during this time made the process smoother and easier for us all.

From the moment I contacted Lane and then met Susan, I was very pleased with how she handled all that I needed to carry out a service for my brother Kip. Thanks Susan.
I would also like to thank Darin and Shane for their tremendous efforts and help in wrapping up everything. They were the best and great at what they do!
Thank you too to the ladies who called to follow up for grief help. Very sweet and kind texts.
Thanks for a smooth and comfortable flow of steps to honoring my precious brother's memory.

As we journey through life, some people leave footprints of kindness and love. I just wanted to say I’m so thankful to you all for going above and beyond for your kindness and generosity. I am so glad I chose you guys and thank you for taking care of my loved ones Jonathan ‘Jay’ Rose (son) and (brother), Ken Wagnon. You made some of the saddest days of my life, a little easier to cope with. My special thanks go out to Briana, Darin, Lynda, Kristen. With sincere blessings, Lyn Burnette.

This was an especially difficult year for my family. Our mom, Pat, 84, passed away on 9/11/2021 from Covid complications. Then on 10/19/2019, and just 38 days later, our sister Karen passed away from the same Covid variant as our mom, from whom she was infected.

My family has always turned to Lane Funeral Home since 1968 during these times of sorrow because of their complete professionalism at helping out during the transition. I cane in to talk to Stephanie for our mom’s funeral. She was extremely professional at serving each of our mom’s personal requests per her pre arrangement details. Because our sister was still in the hospital when mom passed away Lane was able to delay our mom’s funeral 2 weeks so Karen could attend.

Unfortunately, Karen’s condition deteriorated so she wasn’t able to attend the service, but was able to watch the live stream from her hospital room. When she succumbed to Covid we had her funeral service at Lane as well. This time Jason, the Lane administrator, worked with Karen’s husband, his mom and myself for her service details. Jason was a ray of light during the most cloudy time of my life!

Both services were perfect! The staff, including Judy and Frankie at the door were flawless! I could not have asked for better than the job everyone did at Lane during a very emotional 5 week period. They were perfect! After the services were completed Chris Hays was there for moral support when we went to gather flowers and pictures following each service.

If you ever need a friend during your darkest days come to see the people of Lane Funeral Home. Ask for Jason! They are the Best of the Best! They are the only place my family ever uses when our loved ones are afforded their final respects! Great job guys! Great job!

I cannot praise the staff of Lane Funeral Home Southcrest Chapel for their kind and gracious treatment through the years of our family members that have passed on but especially when we lost my twin sister on July 7 2021. I must commend Susan Tankersley for going far beyond what is required of her position. Thank you for your patience in answering g all our “what should we do now” questions and helping us to plan my sister’s funeral. Susan acted as if it was her own sister that had passed as she went out of her way to help with each detail. We were so shattered and she helped guide us during and through the visitation and to the final graveside. My husband is wheelchair bound and they helped us to get him seated and then made provisions for him to be close to the to the gravesite. Thank you to all the staff that continuously checked on us whike we were there asking if we needed anything and could they help us in any way to ease the pain of our loss. Thank you to Jason Cox for his assistance. We are so happy to have such a wonderful funeral home as Lanes to guide us during loss of loved ones. Glenda Jones

The staff at Lane Funeral Home is the most professional, respectful, courteous and caring, with no exception. It is such a stressful time for a family, especially with current Covid restrictions, but the staff made sure we were able to mourn our loved one with dignity. I will ever be grateful to them, especially Susan Tankersley. Thank you so much.

Lane Funeral Home treated us as if we were family. Mom planned her funeral and when it was time to lay her to rest Dwayne and Briana did everything with such love and compassion. Mom would have been overjoyed with how they handled everything! I am forever grateful for them and their staff!

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Briana Hash and Lane Funeral Home for the extraordinary service provided to me and my Brother's family in our time of need. Larry's passing was sudden and unexpected. There is always so much you have to remember and then there is the expense of lying them to rest. Thankfully , Briana & Lane Funeral Home worked with us as we had a limited amount of funds to work with. We were able to get and do all the things we wanted. Lane Funeral Home is a beautiful place to have your loved one. Everyone is so kind and helpful and tend to your every need while there. I would recommend Lane Funeral Home to all, as they give Exceptional Service!

Thank you Lane Funeral Home for making things so easy for our family - We are forever grateful.
