Anna Ruth McNabb, 85 of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in a local hospital.

Anna was born in Rome, Georgia on April 14, 1932 to the late John and Ellen Willis and has lived in the Chattanooga area for most of her life. She retired from Action Company (Formally Southern Saddlery) as a seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith and attended New Haven Fellowship in Rossville. She loved the outdoors, especially working in her yard, flower garden and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis McNabb, two sons, James Lebron and Gary Randall McNabb, several step-sisters and two grandsons, Jeremy Almond and Jackie Sexton, brother, Duke Willis and sister, Mary Elizabeth Nation.

Survivors include her son, Michael Stephen McNabb, daughters, Gloria Deloris Marshall, Kathy Darlene McNabb and Evelyn Bernice Sexton, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at New Haven Fellowship with Pastor Carroll Allen and Pastor Luke Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM at the church until the service hour.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
