Audrey Elizabeth Osburn, 81, of Chickamauga, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday February 3, 2018 in a local healthcare facility.

Audrey was born September 29, 1936 in Chickamauga, GA to the late John Cecil and Jewel Doran. She had a long and satisfying career working in childcare and as a kindergarten teacher. A devoted Christian, Audrey was a proud member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, First Baptist Church in Chickamauga, GA.

With her passing, Audrey joins in heaven her husband of 48 years Lamar Osburn, her son Jeffery Osburn, sister, Doris Strickland and brothers, Cecil and Roger Doran.

She is remembered with profound love and gratitude by her children, Philip (Connie) Osburn, Andrea Redd and Christopher (Kemey) Osburn; granddaughters, Nicole (Sonny) Taylor, Holly Sweat and Caitlyn Sweat; great-grandchildren, Stephen and Cade Crider, Macie and Millie Taylor; brother, Don Doran; sister, Sandra (John) Mastrangelo and her beloved dog, Chloe.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Thad Key officiating. Interment will follow at Chickamauga Cemetery, Chickamauga, GA.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-7pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
