Barbara Price

Barbara Louise Price, 83, of Fort Oglethorpe, died peacefully at home on April 12, 2024.  She was born to Henry and Ethel Bolt and was the oldest of six children.  Barbara was born and raised in Illinois and moved south after marrying her husband, James.

Barbara had a heart for service.  She helped to raise her four youngest siblings.  She and her husband helped to support others in the community and worked with their church.  She loved being a mother and grandmother.  Barbara enjoyed flowers, gardening, bird watching and puzzles.  She owned several businesses with her husband throughout their 51 years of marriage.  She was an active member of McFarland United Methodist Church in Rossville, GA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James, and her parents, Henry and Ethel Bolt.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sarah (Bo) Harden, Alison (Chris) Campbell, and Donna Clark; three grandchildren, Kayla, Alex and Will; five siblings, Dianne, Kathy, Carol, Debbie, and Richard; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Interment will follow at Earl’s Cemetery in McDonald, TN.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00pm.
