Brenda Combs Newport, 72, of East Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Katherine Combs, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Stacey Newport Allen, & Shannon Newport (Daniel) Wilson; granddaughters, Katherine Taylor Wilson & Caitlyn Danielle Wilson; sisters, Patricia Medaris & Wilma Burt; grandpuppy, Abbey; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.  Interment will be held in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
