So sorry to hear of Al's passing. I am so glad that the guys in Al's platoon were able to reconnect in the recent years. Sgt Spears was my go to guy with all the experience that he had acquired when I got to Vietnam. He was a special guy and I treasure the time we shared telling our stories of so long ago.He will be truly missed by the men of Scotch Platoon.
