Golden Lowe, 89, of East Ridge, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2017 in a local health care facility.

Mrs. Lowe was born on November 27, 1927 to the late George and Mary Kay and has been a resident of East Ridge for several years.  She was a charter member of the former Hughes Avenue Baptist Church in East Ridge and retired from Windridge Apartments in Chattanooga where she served as Assistant Manager. Golden deeply loved her family and friends which also showed her devoted faith to Christ. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, T.R. Lowe, brothers, Ernest & Paul  Kay, and sisters, Eva Mae Thompson & Pauline Thompson.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Lowe, Bruce (Marylynn) Lowe, & Mary (Charles) Quarles; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Craig Westbrook & Andrew Lowe officiating.  Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
