Ida Mae Moore Johnson, 97, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 in a local health care facility.

Mrs. Johnson was of the Methodist faith, enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden.   She was retired from Cobble-Muse Hosiery Mill with more than 30 years of service, and was preceded in death by her husbands, Noel A. Moore and Eldridge Johnson, daughters, Mary Frances Boyd and Wilda Lou Roach, and brothers, Bill, Troy, Noel, & Raymond Martin.

Survivors include her daughters, Angela (Richard) Nicely of Rossville & Vickie (John) Smith of Hixson; fifteen grandchildren; several great and great-great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with interment to follow in Hawkins Cemetery, Lookout Mountain.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
