James L. Morgan, 65, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017, in a local health care facility.   

Mr. Morgan was of the Christian faith and enjoyed working puzzles and watching TV.  He had worked for 25 years for the City of Chattanooga.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Essie Morgan and a brother, Edward Morgan. 

Survivors include his brothers, Robert and David Morgan; sisters, Joyce (Travis) Mitchell, Thelma Morgan, Sharon (Lloyd) Hussey, Martha Addington; four nieces and nephews and several step nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 14th in the South Crest Chapel.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14th beginning at 12:00 pm and until the funeral hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
