Judy Schenck

Judy Schenck,74, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.  She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia where she was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Schenck was a 1962 graduate of Central High School.  After her high school graduation she attended the Erlanger Nursing School and graduated from the Southern Advent College with a Master’s Degree.  She loved traveling, shopping, enjoying the company of her dogs throughout the years, and singing gospel songs.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Schenck.

Survivors include her sister, Linda Bates James of Ft. Oglethorpe; brother, Larry WM Bates of Ooltewah; nephews, Greg James, Reverend WM Bates, and Jeff Bates.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
