Barry Leon Perry, 66, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in a local healthcare facility.

Mr. Perry was born in Apison, Tennessee on October 10, 1951 to the late James and Hilda Perry and has spent the greater part of his life in the Tunnel Hill area. He was a truck driver for over twenty years with Cagle’s and later drove for K&B Trucking Company in Chatsworth, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing baseball, watching the Atlanta Braves and swimming. Mr. Perry is also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles and Doyle, and Roger  Perry.

Survivors include his daughter, Angela Dawn (Chris Harden) Perry, son, Anthony (Jessica Terry) Perry, two grandchildren, Gaven and Paxton Perry, two sisters, Darlene Lutrell and Jean Coleman, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2018 in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Calvin Headrick officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018  and from 12:00 PM until the service hour on Friday in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
