Linda Ann Robinson, 72, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 29, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Robinson was a native of Fort Payne, Alabama and was born on July 27, 1944 to the late William and Elizabeth Lambert. She had moved to Houston, TX in 2002 and later returned to Hixson, Tennessee to be with her family. She worked with Dixie Industrial Coating in Chattanooga in the Quality Control department. She was of the Baptist faith and deeply loved her Lord and family. Everyone who knew her could see her devotion to her family and to her faith. In Addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Robinson, daughter, Teresa Baxter, brothers, JC and Edward Lee Lambert and sisters, Sylvia Gillespie, Gladys Smith and Faye Gobles.

Survivors include her companion, Dan Cooper, grandchildren, Nicole Taney, Aaron Ledwell, Melody Kelley and Jessica Baxter, great-grandchildren, Jalan Ledwell, Julian Church, Jalicia Ledwell and Daesheun Ledwell, brothers, Harold and Ray Lambert, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Craig Westbrook officiating. Interment will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, June 6, 2017 at 11:30 am.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
