Lois Marie “Re Re” Wright, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 in a local hospital.

Marie was born in Jacksonville, Florida but had spent the greater part of her life in the Chattanooga area and was employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years.  She loved her family and was always helping in any way needed.  Marie was very crafty and enjoyed dirt track racing, and was preceded in death by her father, Wendell McDaniel, and father-in-law, Arby Wright, Sr.

Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Robert Manuel Wright, Sr; mother, Jeanne McDaniel; children, Robert M. (Chrissy) Wright, Jr., Christopher G. Wright, and Adam F. Wright; grandchildren, Phillip M.  Wright, Brandon A. Wright, and Alexis M. Wright; sisters, Barbara A. (Greg) Wright, Juanita F. (James) Wright, and Norma (Greg) Landreth; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Tim Turnipseed officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 30th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
