Mr. Lynn Douglas Price, 76, of Chickamauga went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 29, 2017.

Mr. Price was born June 17, 1940 to his parents, Henry and Hattie Mae Price. He enjoyed serving God and spending time with his family. When not working as a Pattern Maker at Mueller he spent his time working with wood. He has built cabinets and several other items for family and friends during his life. He was a lifelong member of the Rossville Church of God.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Yvonne Price; parents, Henry and Hattie Price; sisters, Hulda Mae Rolen, Maggie Carter, and Dorothy Wagner; brothers, Albert Price and Frank Price Sr.

Survivors include his son, Melvin Price Sr., grandsons, Melvin Price Jr. and Eric Price. Great grandchildren, Avery Price, Ali Price, Paxton Price, Ashlynn Price, and Aubree Price. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Celebration of Mr. Price’s life will be held 11:00a.m.Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
