Martha Naomi Bane Triplett, 94, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 3, 2017 in a local health care facility.
Martha was born on January 19, 1923 in South Pittsburg, TN to the late Lidge Bane & Margaret Bane Carson. She worked for Peerless Woolen Mill & Standard Coosa-Thatcher. Mrs. Triplett was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and spent her life helping and serving others. She also worked with her husband in the business. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. “Trip” Triplett and step-father, Henry Carson, brother, Bill Bane, sisters, Nettie Carden, Imogene Clay, Wanda Faye Speed and Catherine Lemmon.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Ivey, Douglasville, GA; sons, Blen (Martha) Triplett, Rossville, GA, and Robert (Valorie) Triplett, Chickamauga, GA; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Larry Underwood and Rev. Adam Ivey officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
