Patricia Anita “Tricia” Goldsmith Tilley, 76, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Tilley was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30, 1941 to the late Willie T. and Nellie I. Goldsmith and has lived most of her life in the Rossville, Georgia area. She retired from Duff Brothers Company in Chattanooga where she worked as an order puller. She also worked several years with the Volunteer Ammunition Plant in Chattanooga.  She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe. She enjoyed flowers, working in her yard, bowling & playing fast pitch softball in her early years and spending time with her family, of whom she loved and cared for dearly. She never met a stranger and will certainly be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Burch D. Tilley, three brothers, J.W., Joe and Gary Goldsmith, two nieces, Lisa and April Goldsmith.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam (David) Anderson, Tammy Brenner (Kyle McNabb, sisters, Mildred Benefield, Debbie (Larry) Evans and Bonnie (Tommy) Elkins, brothers, Billy (Becky) Goldsmith and Marty (Carol) Goldsmith, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Eric Greeson officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 and from 11:00 AM until the service hour on Wednesday in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
