Richard Wesley Barger, 54, a current resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away unexpectedly on May 16th, 2017 at Erlanger Hospital.

Richard was born on October 2nd, 1962 and grew up in Red Bank, TN. He worked for his father, alongside his brother, at Barger AC Heating and Air for fifteen years. He was a Christian man who practiced his faith within the comfort of a Baptist church. Richard “Ricky” Barger took flight Tuesday night, so he could fly safely to heaven and rest peacefully with his father Walter B. Barger and mother Mary L. Barger.

Richard is survived by his loving brother and sister-in-law; Robert and Linda Barger; his children, daughter Crystal Brown and son-in-law Brian Brown; daughter, Tiffany Hullander and son-in-law Justin Hullander; and son, Steven Barger; grandchildren, Autumn Hogue,Blake Robertson, Emyle Brown, Hailey Brown, Hannah Brown, Caleb Hullander, Madison Hullander, Samantha Barger, and Keaton Barger.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with burial to follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
