Roy Christopher Vaughn, 60, of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.

Mr. Vaughn was born on August 24, 1956 to the late Roy and Roberta Vaughn. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing checkers and watermelon chewing gum. He also worked with his dad in earlier years laying carpet. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn is also preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy Bandy and Steve Vaughn.

Survivors include his aunt, Sissy (George) Angel, brother, Greg Vaughn, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park with Chaplain Ray Mabe officiating.
