Shirley Faye Stephens, 81, of Rossville, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
Mrs. Stephens was an active member of the Rossville Church of Christ, was a volunteer for the food panty and served as a pink lady at Hutcheson Medical Center. She was a Gold Star Wife, volunteered with the Navy Auxilliary, loved her family unconditionally and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and making fruit cakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stephens Jr., parents, John & Lillie Corbin, sisters, Edith Odell, & Stella Corbin, brothers, Donald, Wayne, Joseph, & John Paul Corbin.
Survivors include her children, Anita Beard, Sharon (Mark) Marcus, Donald Whaley, & Sarah (DeForest) Montgomery; brothers, William, James, Max (Carol), & Ira (Mary) Corbin; ten grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with private interment to follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
