Alfred “Al” McCoy, 86, of Flintstone, GA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at a local health care facility. Mr. McCoy was a lifelong resident of North Georgia. He was a longtime member of the Lighthouse of the Word Church in Rossville where he enjoyed singing with his wife. Mr. McCoy worked for many years as a Machinist at Sherman and Riley in Chattanooga. He was a Godly man who loved doing the Lords’ work through his church. He also enjoyed singing gospel music throughout the tristate area; traveling; and he loved antique cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell McCoy; and brothers, Will and Clifford McCoy.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Valorie and Joe McDonald; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 12:00p.m. at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
