Alice Stewart Kelley, 90, passed away on June 18, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville, AL, lived in Michigan, Tennessee and most recently in Rossville, GA
Alice attended Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, AL. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working crossword puzzles and making delicious, decorated cakes. Alice, along with her husband, were very active in the Church of God, where they headed up numerous, successful fundraisers.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband, H.F. Kelley; parents, Charles and Lela Stewart; brothers, John Stewart, Jim Stewart, Chloe Stewart and Opie Stewart; sisters, Ollie Benefield, Nellie Cornutt, Edna Pate, and Ethel Knowles.
Survivors include her sons, David (Carolyn) Kelley, Charles Kelley, and Stephen Kelley; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan) Leonard, Heather (David) Gullige, and Stephen Kelley, Jr.; and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel.
Burial will at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Lane South Crest Chapel.
Arrangements are by Lane South Crest Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA at the foot of historic Missionary Ridge.
