Amy L. Jordan

Amy Lynette Jordan, 51 of Ringgold, GA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022.

Amy was born and raised in the Chattanooga area, graduated from Ringgold High School Class of 1989, and was a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church. She was very athletic and helped the Ringgold Tigers softball team to win three state championships. Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree in History, Psychology, and Social Science from Ashford University. She worked for First Tennessee Bank, as a dispatcher for the Catoosa County and Whitfield County Sherriff’s offices, and as a CNA with NHC of Rossville. Amy loved to spend time with her grandbabies and would do anything to make them happy. She was very creative and was writing children’s books for her grandchildren. Amy was kind, caring, and very empathetic. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.C. and Evelyn Stephens and Betty and Raymond Brackett.

Survivors include her son, Hunter (Anya) Abbott; grandchildren: Peyton, Atlas, and Serenity Abbott; parents, Jimmy and Elaine Davis; brother, Philip (Kathy) Davis; nephews and niece: Carson, Camden, and Emmaline Davis; beloved dog, Mona; and special friend, Dawn.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
