Ancel W. Freeman, 86, of Rossville passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Freeman was a native of Cullman, AL and had lived most of his life in the North Georgia area. He was owner/operator of F&C Contractors and was a protestant by faith. Mr. Freeman loved his country and he served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War. His passions in life were his family, gardening, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Euna Freeman; parents, Claude and Lula Freeman; brother, Carl Freeman; and three sisters, Mavis Freeman, Beatrice Wooten and Clemmie Bradford.
Survivors include two children, Michael (Debbie) Freeman of Rock Spring and Sheila Smith of Rossville; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.
Interment will follow in the TN-GA Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-8p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
