Andrew “Andy” Hallum, 90 of Rossville, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020.
Andy was born in Wildwood, GA and lived most all of his life in the North Georgia area. He was of the Baptist faith and retired after many years as an operator with Swift & Co. edible oil. Andy enjoyed working in his yard and planting flowers.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lena May Hallum; brothers, Sidney Hallum and Mitchell Hallum; sister, Gertrude McBryar; and grandchildren, Alison Bell and Allan Gordy.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Hallum; children, Benny (Pam) Hallum, Vicki Hendricks, Sharon (Chuck) Calhoun, Deborah (Larry) Duncan, Talmadge (Kim) Graves, and Felicia (Micahel) Tate; sister, Minnie Weeks; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15th at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel. Webcasting of the funeral will be available on Lane’s website. Entombment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
