Ann Massey Johnson, 100 of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 11th, 2021 in her home.
Ann was born in Rome, GA and was a member of Lakeview First Baptist Church. She began working at Lee Smith before the start of WWII and retired after over 40 years of service. Ann enjoyed ceramics, sewing, traveling to Lake Tansi and Pigeon Forge, and spending time with her family. She was a tireless caregiver to many, devoted mother and grandmother, excelled at being a mother-in-law, feisty, hardworking, always on the go, and had the sweetest spirit. Ann was a positive and uplifting woman and will be remembered for her loving kindness.
Ann was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Albert Massey and Chester Johnson; parents, Charles and Mamie Barnes; and all seven of her siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Larry) Anthony; grandsons, Jeff and Josh Anthony; granddaughter-in-law, Angie Anthony; great grandson, Bryson; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 at 11am in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
