Arthur "Art" Gary Snyder

Arthur “Art” Gary Snyder, 53 of East Ridge, passed away Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 in his home.

Art was born in Chattanooga, TN and attended Red Bank High School. He loved “junking,” anything Harley Davidson, and most of all spending time with his family. Art always stood up for what he believed in and was known as a hardworking and strong minded man. He is much loved and will be missed.

Art was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Austin; brother, Micheal Austin; and granddaughter, Emily Morlan.

Survivors include his father, Estell Austin; ex-wife, Charlotte Snyder; son, Chris Snyder; daughter, Tiffany Snyder; daughter, Jennifer Snyder; three granddaughters: Kayla Snyder, Kimberly Morlan, Chrissa Snyder; son-in-law, Phillip Parris; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Snyder; brother, Mark Snyder; two sisters: Wendy Austin and Susie Austin; family friends: Anthony Casey, Ray Bearfild;  girlfriend, Lorie Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.
