Audice Merciers

Audice Merciers, 89, of Chattanooga went home to be with her Lord on December 21, 2018. She was born July 12, 1929 to the late Pat and Lillian Dagnan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Merciers, daughter, Donna Merciers, grandson, Michael Germany, great grand daughter, Amy Grace Parker, and several brothers and sisters. She was a charter member of the Tiftonia Church of God where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She was a substitute teacher at Valley View Elementary School, She enjoyed poetry, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include daughters, Judy (Rev Don) Stephens, Sherry (Joel) Germany; sons, Fred (Penny) Merciers, and Danny (Lisa) Merciers. 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 4pm – 8pm and Thursday 11a.m. until the service time at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.

Funeral services will be held 1p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lane South Crest Chapel with interment in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
