Betty June Delzell

     Betty Delzell, 95, of Rossville passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at a local hospital.  Betty was a lifelong resident of Rossville where she was a 1945 graduate of Rossville High School.  She worked for 50 years at Cobble Hosiery Mills and was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church.  She loved her family, doing needle work, and reading.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Myrtle Delzell; brothers, Robert and Ralph Delzell; and nephew, Ed Delzell.

     Survivors include her sisters, Ruth Delzell of Rossville and Joyce Delzell Johnson of Hillsboro, TN; two nieces, Jill Johnson of Hillsboro, TN and Sherry (Mark) Koegel of Pennsylvania; two nephews, Chuck (Patsy) Delzell of Knoxville, TN and Martin (Karen) Johnson of Hillsboro, TN; and great nieces and nephews, Carrie, Scott, Amanda, Jessica, Sarah, and Rachel.

     Graveside services will be held Friday, June 3rd at 1:00p.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Reverend Jim Bennett officiating.
