Betty June McBryar

Betty Tucker McBryar, 89 of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 and was joyously reunited with the love of her life, Kenneth.

Betty was born and raised in Chattanooga and graduated from Central High School. She and her husband were loyal members of Lookout Valley Baptist Church for 75 years. Betty enjoyed reading her Bible and doing her devotions every day. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Kenneth McBryar; son-in-law, Byron Hulgan; parents, Charles and Ellen Tucker; brother, Billy Tucker; sister, Joyce Martin; sister-in-law, Anne Tucker; brother-in-law, Jimmy Martin; and aunt, “Sister” Irwin.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Hulgan; grandchildren: Ashley Brent (Amy) Hulgan and Kristin Hulgan; siblings: Peggy (Ralph) Keefe and David Tucker; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at 2pm in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
