Betty "Nanny" Medlin

Betty “Nanny” Medlin, 88 of Rossville, passed away Friday, June 26th, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born and raised in the Chattanooga area, was of the Baptist faith, and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She loved to shop and take trips with her family especially to Mulberry, FL. Betty loved her family very much and considered her grandchildren and great grandchildren as her “pride and joy.”

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Hazel Cartright; brother, Bobby Cartright, and grandson, Anthony Farris.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Allen Medlin; children: Rickey (Wendy) Hartline, Sr., and Angie (Jerry) Ferguson; grandchildren, Sara (Casey) Norris, Rickey Hartline, Jr., Amanda Hartline, Felicia Terry, Stacey Dill, and Joey Ferguson; great grandchildren: Phoenix Terry, Gage Norris, Lily Norris, Ashlyn Fox, Sidney Ferguson, Nala Hartline, and Jimmy Hartline; sisters, Charlene and Margie; sister-in-law, Lois Cartright; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
