Beverly Kay Hixson

Beverly Gilbreath Hixson, 60 of Chickamauga, GA passed away, Saturday February 23, 2019 in her home.

Beverly was born in Chattanooga, TN but lived most of her life in the North Georgia area. She loved working with her plants and rose bushes, cooking for her family, and most of all taking care of her grandbaby, Jocelyn.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Gilbreath and her first husband, Gary Hixson. 

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Morgan; daughter, Brandy Hixson; son, Jeremy Matthews; father, George Gilbreath; sisters, Vickie and Gloria Gilbreath; step-children: Ashley Barnes, Charlie and Rodney Morgan, and Timmy Hixson; grandchildren, Jocelyn Bramlett and Xadrienne Ellis; 7 step-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2pm in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow at Ascalon Memory Gardens in Rising Fawn, Ga.
