Brigit Elaine Holder

Brigit Barker Holder, 45 of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday July 25th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Brigit was born in Knoxville, but grew up in Harrison and graduated from Central High School. She attended UTC and Austin Peay colleges and attended the Calvary Chapel of Chattanooga. Brigit was a talented crafter who loved to make wreaths and other decorative items. She also had an eye for photography and was often found behind the camera capturing the life of her family. Brigit dedicated her time to her children’s ball teams and was always found on the baseball or softball field. She is dearly loved by all who knew her and will be missed.

Brigit was preceded in death by her father, Jim Barker; fraternal grandparents, Clyde and Reva Mae Barker; and maternal grandparents, William and Imogene Seritt. 

Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Chris Holder; beloved children, Brittany and Jacob Holder; mother, Donna Barker; brother, Brett (Valerie) Barker; brother-in-law, Troy(Amber) Holder; nephews, Hunter Barker and Corey Holder; parents-in-law, Al and Darlene Holder; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 29th at 11am in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Terry Chitwood officiating.
