Bryan "Chip" S. Yates

Bryan “Chip” Stewart Yates, 51 of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA passed away Wednesday, May 31st, 2023.

Chip was born in Tracy City, TN but had been a long time resident of North Georgia. He worked in the concrete industry his entire life and was very dedicated to his job. Chip loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor, was friendly and outgoing, and never met a stranger. Chip will be most remembered for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need.

Chip was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Yates and Elizabeth Kilgore.

Survivors include his fiancé, Leeann Chapman; children: Alistair Yates, Bryson Yates, and Brayden Yates; siblings: John Tigue, Mary Tigue, and Brooke Scruggs; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service date and time will be announced.
