Dad was probably the best father a child could have. He was a teacher, patient and loving, worked endless hours at grandpa Tothills bakery and businesses, hand built our first home with my Great grandfather and his father Carl, and never stopped in his loyalty to God and family.
He stood by Mom and us , and never chastised me for the trouble I had caused him, but instead correct my mistakes and moved us forward as a family.
His gardening, was a passion that I remember from my youth, and mom and dad dressed us, fed us, and pushed us to succeed, while holding several jobs and family crisis.
I will honor and love both Mom and Dad in my soul forever. I truly wish them peace, and know they are surrounded by the children, grand children, and great grandchildren that love them most.
Dad played the steel guitar, took us on great vacations, helped us find jobs (paper route, picking fruit, fort Niagara) and I remember turning doughnuts at 5am at grandpa Tothills bakery at wrights corners, where he worked tirelessly for hours on end, lifting 100lb bags of flour and 12 hr days, prior to his career at Elia 7 sons.
I thank you for all the support and love you gave me, and am so very very sorry for the troubles I had caused you.
I love you Dad, Thank you for your amazing gifts to us, and sleep well... you more than deserve the peace you have now been blessed with.

I am so sorry for your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man who lived a very full life. I had never heard that he worked in Niagara Falls for several years. Losing a Father is life changing so take time to grieve this wonderful Father.
