Carl D. Bryson

Carl Daniel Bryson, Sr., 84 of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019.

Carl was born in Rome, GA and was a member of Wallaceville Baptist Church. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 21 years of service in the Navy.  Carl was a member of the American Legion Post #95 in East Ridge for over 30 years. He worked for several companies after retiring from the Navy, including: Cherokee Warehouse, Ryder Truck Line, PIE Truck Line, ABB Construction, and Alstom. Carl lived life to the fullest and enjoyed doing things with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Sara Imogene Bryson; parents, James and Ola Bryson; and brother, Lovell Bryson.

Survivors include his sons: Danny Bryson, Steve (Janie) Bryson, and Scott (Sydnee) Bryson; grandchildren: Zack (Katy) Bryson, Jacob Bryson, Ben Bryson, and Lexi Bryson; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Monday, September 9th at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Charles Bray officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
