Carl "Rick" Pickett

Mr. Carl Richard “Rick” Pickett, 64, of Rossville, GA passed away on March 12, 2023.  Rick was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Ms. Betty Battle on March 4, 1959.

Rick was a very hard worker.  He worked for over 30 years helping to run Buehler’s Grocery and served in the United States Army for 7 years.  He most recently worked for Wal-Mart in the automotive shop.  Not only did Rick work hard away from home but at home as well.  He had recently finished a back porch addition to his home that he was very proud of.  Rick loved mowing the lawn, Tennessee Football, and NASCAR.  Most of all though, Rick loved his family.  He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother and brother, Joe Pickett.

Rick is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carla Chandler Pickett and his children; Rick Richard Pickett, Jr., Jeremy Pickett, Jason Pickett, Heather Pickett, Jamie Chandler, William Jackson, and Pamela Farrow.

A graveside service for Rick we be conducted at a later date at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors rendered.
