Carrie F. (Turbyfill) McDaniel

Carrie F. McDaniel, 85, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 09, 2019.  She was a lifelong resident of Rossville and was a member of Crosspath Baptist Church in East Ridge.  Mrs. McDaniel was a CNA for Hutcheson Home Health for over 20 years providing her patients with loving care and was known for going above and beyond for her patients.  She loved shopping, traveling by Cruise Ship, and visiting Daytona Beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billy McDaniel; daughter, Sharon McDaniel; brother, Joel Turbyfill; parents, Theodore and Ruby Turbyfill; and granddaughter, April Kitchen.

Survivors include her daughters, Billie (Bill) Hain and Shelia (Skip) Reynolds; son, Larry (Katy) McDaniel; granddaughter, Amanda Ables; grandson, Peyton McDaniel; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend William Jacques officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
