Carrie Bell Pierce, 86, Ringgold, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at her residence.  She was a native of North Georgia and a member of Salem Valley Baptist Church in Ringgold.   Mrs. Pierce enjoyed sewing, quilting, family and was a Christian lady.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Bertha Pierce, and brother, Chester Dyer. 

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Dennis Pierce, daughters, Donna McKaig, Denise (Randy) Kinsey, Deborah (Michael) Holsomback, Sheila (Tony) Osbourn; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Don Self and Rev. Sam Dillard officiating.  Interment will be in Salem Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be to New Bethel Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 12-3 p.m. Friday at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
