Catherine Garrison

Catherine (Cat) Luella Garrison, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born in Chattanooga, TN and remained in the North Georgia area. Catherine attended Rossville High School and then worked as a spinner in several local mills including Rocksury Spinning Mill.

Her hobbies included watching Hallmark movies, cooking and shopping at Walmart for hours where she also enjoyed making friends with all shoppers she encountered.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Malcom Edward and Addie Amelia Davenport; brothers, John and Leland Davenport.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Eddie Garrison; sister, Marie Martin of Anniston, AL. and Joyce Mitchell of Chatsworth, GA.; niece, Tonia Davenport Hampton, nephews, Curtis and Lamar Martin; great niece, Morgan Hampton and other extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 21st at 12 noon in the South Crest Chapel.

Interment will be in the following TN-GA Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21st from 10:00am until the service hour.
