Mrs. Cathrine Anner “Cat” Driggers age of 85, of Rossville, GA, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021.
Mrs. Driggers was born in Cherokee County, GA, on April 13, 1936, the daughter of the late Lewis Vernon Clark and Beulah Mae Mullins Arp. She was a member of Bryan Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Driggers enjoyed working in her garden, decorating for Christmas, and talking. She will be remembered most for saying “God Loves you and so do I” and “I’m glad you got to see me.” In addition to her parents, Mrs. Driggers was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Driggers, Jr. “Hoover” and eight siblings, Mary Lois Evans, Nora Oliver, Lucille Clark, Shirley Davis, Winston Clark, Vernon Clark, Grady Clark, and Louise Davenport.
Survivors include her five children, Walter Driggers, Wanda Smith (Danny), Richard Driggers (Julie), John Driggers (Cathy), and Lisa McGee (David); eight grandchildren, Michael Smith (Kelly), Robert Smith (April), Selena Smith, Michelle Pagleno (Bobby), Richard Pagleno, Jacob Driggers, Tabetha Driggers, and Adyline Driggers; and seven great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 2:00 P.M., Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow at TN GA Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel.
