Charles Francis Brown

Charles Francis Brown, 84, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, July 25, 2019.  He was a Baptist preacher and was an iron worker.  Mr. Brown enjoyed fishing, the rodeo and yard work.   He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. 

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elvira Brown; brothers, David, Kenneth, George, Clarence, and Noah Brown; son, Ronald Ray Brown; sister, Elizabeth Brown.

Survivors are his wife, Brenda Brown; son, Charles Allen Brown; step-sons, W. Dee (Angie) Hart, and Devin Hart; two grandchildren, Tabatha McWhorter and Christy Staton; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019, in the South Crest Chapel.  The family will received friends from 12 until the hour of service on Saturday.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
