Charles Lee Stephens

Mr. Charles L. Stephens, 70, of Rossville, GA passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022.  Charles was born in Trenton, GA to the late Mr. Johnny Stephens and Mrs. Ruby Porter Stephens.

Charles was a devoted husband and loving father.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to play jokes on his family.  Charles owned and operated Mobile Air & Supply for over 20 years before his retirement.  He loved riding his tractor and being outdoors.  Charles’ favorite activity was the Annual Special Kids Fishing Tournament.  Charles will surely be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Douglas Stephens, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice Hughes, son, Keith Stephens of Savannah, GA, daughter, Angela (Fred) Osgood of Savannah, GA, and sister, Martha Francis Cross of Rossville, GA.  Many friends also survive to cherish Charles’ memory.

A celebration of Charles’ life will be conducted on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel at two o’clock in the afternoon with the Rev. Jason Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from eleven o’clock in the morning until the service hour.
