Chazz Wallers

Charles “Chazz” Franklin Wallers, 63 of Rossville, GA passed away Wednesday, April 20th, 2022.

Chazz was born and raised in the North Georgia area and graduated from Rossville High School. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from the local Welding Union where he’d worked since the age of 18. Chazz enjoyed shooting pool, scratch off lottery tickets, and playing Keno. He was “as good as gold” to his family and friends. Chazz was friendly, “happy go lucky”, and a jokester. He treated his nieces and nephews like they were his own children. Chazz is one of a kind, is dearly loved, and will be deeply missed.

Chazz was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alpha Bell Wallers, Sr.; and brother, Leonard Wallers, Jr.

Survivors include his sisters, Bronda Sewell and Diane (Benny) Turley; sons, Stenen and Chance Poe; nieces and nephews: Tonya (Turkey) Taylor, Sondra (Tim) Williams, Bronson (Brittany) Sewell, and Leonard (Megan) Sewell; several great nieces and nephews, many extended family members and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25th, 2022 at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24th, 2022 from 1-8pm and Monday from 9am until the funeral hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
