Christopher M. “Chris” Kocincki, 39, of Chattanooga passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. Chris had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga area where he attended Red Bank High School in the late 1990’s. He worked in the entertainment industry as a stage hand helping set up many concert venues throughout the southeast. Chris was known for his quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and his charismatic personality. He loved music and playing his guitar and he was a movie buff. Chris was extremely intelligent and knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects due to the fact that he always needed to know why and how. Chris also loved his dogs, Chopper and Rampage.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Smith; and maternal grandparents, Claire and Lenida Thompson.

 

Survivors include his wife, Brandy Kocincki; two children, Morgan and Cooper; father, Charles Kocincki; step-father, Richard Smith; three brothers, Tony (Mary) Carlton, Tommy Carlton, and Steve Kocincki; three sisters, Shelly (Robert) Sullivan, Anna (Travis) Kocincki, and Kerri Kocincki Pitt; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous friends.

 

Condolences may be shared and live webcasting of the funeral service is available at www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18th at 3:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

 

Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 18th from 1:00p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
