Clara Marcella (Lawson) Martin

Clara “Marcella” Lawson Martin, 82, Rossville passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at a local health care.

She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, graduated from Rossville High School class of 1956, retired from Coats of America and was a veteran with the United States Air Force.

Marcella enjoyed Bird watching, flowers, archology, nature and will always be remembered for the love she had for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse James Lawson and Bertha Pearl Massey Lawson.

Left to cherish her memory include her children Dale M. (Connie) Smith, Jessie L. (Beka) Rich and Tarrah Martin; five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Rosewood Assisted Living, NHC Rossville and Hospice of Chattanooga and Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, South Crest Chapel for their kindness, love and care.

Burial will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge.
