Clara Sue (Cross) Parker

Clara Sue Parker, 94 of Rossville, GA passed away Friday, July 1st, 2022.

Sue was born and raised in the North Georgia area and attended Calvary Church of God. She retired after 26 years of service with Krystal then went back for two more years of dedicated service. Sue liked to read her Bible, crochet, take care of her plants, and spend time with her grandchildren. She loved her family dearly and would do anything for her children and grandchildren. Sue had a feisty personality and was passionate about what she believed in.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Parker, Jr.; parents, Joe and Gertrude Cross; siblings:  J.C. Cross, James Cross, Mary Lou Ricketts, Alice Rogers, George Cross, Ernest Cross, and Jackie Cross.

Survivors include her children: Patsy (Richard) Rogers, Carolyn (Gary) Rogers, James (Linda) Parker, and Beverly Gentry; grandchildren: Stacy Childers, Angie Buntin, Dina Parham, Heather Faulkenberry, Thomas Jackson, Elizabeth Jackson, and Joseph Jackson; step-grandchildren: Kristi Hoffarth and Donnie Sanders; great grandchildren: Tyler Childers, Ashley, Alexis, and Cooper Faulkenberry; siblings: Betty Jean Springfield and Freddie Cross; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11th, 2022 at 12pm in the South Crest Chapel with Reverends Carroll Allen and James Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
