Cynthia Marie Bowling

Cynthia M. “Cindy” Bowling, 58 of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31st, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Cindy was born and raised in the Chattanooga area and worked as a cook for Chubby’s BBQ for 15 years. She loved the Lord and was of the Baptist faith. Cindy enjoyed traveling, cruising to the Bahamas and Mexico, and especially taking trips to Florida. She loved to shop and get her nails done, but her biggest love was her family. Cindy was affectionately known as “Big Momma” and was bubbly, outgoing, and honest in every aspect of her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Horace Bowling, Sr.; sister, Terri A. Marsh; grand baby, Corey Demond Harper; and lover of her life, Willie Hall, Jr.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Bowling; children: Christopher (Stephanie Holland) Hall, Sr. and LaKita (Chester Phelps) Bowling; siblings: Darla Burke and Horace (Tonya) Bowling, Jr.; grandchildren: Quadarius, Shacoreia, Alexia, Corey, Jr., Aleshia, Aaliyah, Christopher, Jr., Corterius, Jacobie, Jocorbin, Christian,  De’Oriean, Aaleiyah, Alexandira, Jason, Antionette, Vincent, Dustin, Kayla; special grandson, “Rah-Rah;” 10 great grandchildren that she truly loved; special friends, James “Bo” Edwards and Corey “Co-Co” Harper, Sr.; several nieces and nephews; and many many beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 4th, 2020 at 12pm in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Jimmy Lee Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
