Cynthia Denise Taylor

Ms. Cynthia Taylor, 48, of Rossville, GA passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  Cynthia was born in in Fort Oglethorpe, GA on May 9, 1973 to Mr. Marshall “D” Kernea and Mrs. Linda James Kernea.

Cynthia was a very loving mother and grandmother.  She had a big heart that encompassed everyone who was near her.  Cynthia enjoyed doing puzzle books and her newest joy was the birth of her first grand daughter, Ryleigh.  Cynthia’s love and caring will be missed by all those who knew her.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her daughter, Megan Renee Taylor and grandfather, Olen Ray James, Sr.

She is survived by her son, John Zachary “Zach” (April) Taylor, her parents, granddaughter, Ryleigh Taylor, brothers; Christopher (Mandy) Kernea, and Jeffery (Michelle) Scott Kernea, and grandmother, Esther James.  Many Aunts, Uncles, and nephews also survive.

A funeral service for Cynthia will be conducted in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2pm with the Rev. Tony Vona officiating.  Interment will follow the service in TN-GA Memorial Park, Rossville.

The family will receive friends at Lane Funeral Home on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 4 pm until 8 pm.
